Weekly Top 10 Future Bass Chart - July 30, 2016
This was a great week for future bass in all its various forms and affiliated styles. An amazing remix from Alexander Lewis & Y2K, new EPROM & G Jones, and a new Kastle track are just some of what this week's chart has to offer.
HUDSON MOHAWKE - CHIMES (ALEXANDER LEWIS & Y2K REMIX)
This is easily one of the biggest future bass/future trap tracks out right now. Alexander Lewis' trombone musings give the track a more organic feel than that of HudMo's original brass section.
EPROM & G JONES - WARRIOR
Renowned experimental bass music producer released his Samurai EP just a few days ago. As always, it's an unrelenting onslaught of heavy bass lines and brutal yet minimal production elements.
JAY PARK - ALL I WANNA DO (HOODBOI REMIX)
Perfect summertime vibes in this K-Pop remix.
CNRBOY - THE BOUNCE FT. NAME UL
Montell 2099 outdid himself on this beat. Massive 808's with that perfect bounce.
KASTLE - SO FADED
This might be my favorite Kastle song to date. He makes a return to his drum and bass roots with this track. Heavy breakbeats abound. Don't sleep on this one.
HMU - GENESIS
The HMU boys are back at it again. Another amazing chill trap tune with that perfect organic bounce. Gotta love that Future sample.
CABU - GOLD (JNTHN STEIN REMIX)
Very vibrant, future chill track from Team Supreme producer JNTHN STEIN.
813 - SAVE THE LIGHTS
Russian future bass OG 813 makes his return to production with this mix of future bass synths and aggressive, experimental drum breaks.
FALCXNE - SHAME
The latest from falcxne mashes up a Mr. Carmack beat with a pitched-up Freddie Gibbs acapella. A match made in future bass heaven.
LIL JON, KRONIC AND ONDERKOFFER - BAD BITCHES FT. KENO
Heard this on the season 2 permiere of Ballers, and I had a hard time not including it. Mainstream trap vibes for sure, but it does it well.
