Cazztek’s thunderous brand of bass wobbles are a welcome addition to any arrangement, but they work especially well in the context of this particular remix. The masked L.A. producer has released a bone-rattling rerub of La Roux’s 2009 hit single, “In for the Kill,”
The source material’s iconic vocal is pitched down for Cazztek's version, whose club-friendly buildup and speed garage-reminiscent percussion contrast with the mass appeal of the original. The masked producer put together two different bass drops for the remix, each of which will send waves of frenzied motion through the crowd on any dance floor.
"When 'In For The Kill' by La Roux came out, I had the Skrillex & Skream remixes on repeat, they made an impact on my inspiration with electronic music," read a post to Cazztek's Facebook page. "I really enjoyed bringing it back and putting my vibez through it, and I hope you will too."
