Brooklyn Comes Alive had already promised a unique live music experience, but a newly announced act on its lineup ought to garner even more interest from the hip-hop community. The supergroup A Tribute to J Dilla consists of several prominent tastemakers who will pay homage to the late Detroit rapper.
The group is led by Borahm Lee of Breakscience - and also consists of the group's other half, Adam Deitch, as well as his partner with the Lettuce project, guitarist Adam Smirnoff, and Nate Edgar and Stu Brooks of The Nth Power and Matisyahu, respectively. A Tribute to J Dilla is one of eight supergroups announced for Brooklyn Comes Alive, whose full talent roster consists of over 50 individual artists.
Brooklyn Comes Alive will take place across three venues on October 22nd in Brooklyn, NYC. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the event website by clicking here.
