The Knocks are a testament to the notion that hard work and perseverance pay off in the music world. The NYC duo have spent the better part of the last decade paying their dues, and the warm reception of their debut album, 55, has cemented 2016 as their well-deserved breakout year.
Ben Ruttner and James Patterson of The Knocks perform individually under the stage names B-Roc and J-Pat, respectively. They've come a long way since 2010's "Dancing With the DJ;" while their sound has always featured a distinct crossover appeal, the years they've spent honing their signature fusion of pop and indie dance have culminated in the cohesive artistic statement that is 55.
After letting the album steep for several months, The Knocks have joined Justin Bieber as support on the 2016 European tour for his own most recent album, last year's Purpose. Even with only their Paris, France and Fornebu, Norway appearances in the rearview mirror, they've already made some lasting memories - and it's Magnetic Magazine's pleasure to share some of them with you.

The duo will pick up where they left off tonight, September 26th, at the Hartwell Arena in Helsinki, Finland, and you can purchase tickets or find upcoming tour dates by clicking here.
