Watch: Diplo and Zeds Dead Release Official Music Video for "Blame"

Zeds Dead and Diplo's new music video channels '80s action cartoon themes

It should come as no surprise that the official music video for a collaboration between Diplo and Zeds Dead would look like a montage of scenes from the 1981 animated film Heavy Metal. Neither act is a stranger to incorporating such visual themes into their brand, so the video for "Blame" featuring Elliphant makes for a fitting addition.

Zeds Dead and Diplo first released "Blame" two months ago, and the former act announced that the song would appear on their upcoming album, Northern Lights. The video uses retro-focused animation techniques to depict colorful scenes of intergalactic warfare.
