If you like Eric Prydz like we do, then you're well aware that 2016 has been something of a definitive year for him. Even after releasing his next-level artist album, Opus, the Swedish progressive house icon is continually releasing music under his Cirez D alias - and a recent social media post suggests that he might soon revive his Pryda moniker as well.
Case in point: Prydz has taken to Twitter to cryptically relay the following message to his monstrous fan base:
Where the Cirez D sound is characterized by more introspective techno grooves, the Pryda style has grown more or less interchangeable with that of Prydz' regular discography. However, since he premiered a borderline trancey ID during his performance at the 2016 edition of EDC Las Vegas (that his fans have affectionately dubbed "Nopus," it's not far fetched to expect that he might release it as a Pryda single due to its departure from his recent norm.
Either way, whatever Eric Prydz has on the horizon will surely make for a poignant addition to his already game-changing 2016 releases. In the meantime, fans should also be on the lookout for the remaining songs from his upcoming Cirez D EP, Mouseville 022.
