The one-year anniversary for Tchami's Confession imprint is approaching, and the label has been pulling out all the stops to close out their first 12 months on a high note. Over the past couple of weeks they've offered up memorable singles from the likes of Dustycloud and BROHUG, and today, Magnetic Magazine is proud to premiere their newest addition: "Utopia" by DOMBRESKY.
In keeping with the classic sensibility of other Confession releases, the club-friendly bass line of "Utopia" almost likens it to old speed garage while a melody comprised of vocal cuts adds a measure of contemporary appeal. The arrangement really picks up steam at the second drop, though - when you hear it you'll see what we mean.
DOMBRESKY himself is still something of a mystery, having launched his current artist project sometime last year and still refraining from releasing any details of his identity or whereabouts. Being that Confession is home to such mysterious artist projects as Malaa, however, it's safe to say he's working with like minds.
It will be interesting to see what other tricks Confession's got up their sleeves in the month or so leading up to their one-year anniversary. As for right now, you can purchase DOMBRESKY's "Utopia" by clicking here and look out for more from the elusive DJ/producer in the coming months, including a "Utopia" remix package.
