Northern Africa might not seem like the most hospitable place for an electronic music festival, but the promoters of Oasis Festival have made it work. The team behind Oasis is now working on their second edition of the festival, which takes place in Marrakech, Morroco.

Just saying, Marrakech makes one think of an exotic land filled with dates, fez hats, and exotic spices. For your average tank top-clad reveler, the thought of Africa might just be a little too exotic - which is why Oasis looks so damn inviting for the more seasoned festival goer looking for something more exciting. The aftermovie, unfortunately, doesn't seem to do the location much justice and almost looks like it could be one for Coachella or any other festival in a sunny SoCal location.

I was hoping to see some docu-style footage that established the location and the culture a little more vibrantly. Oh well, it's Morroco, so I'm sure it's pretty damn amazing despite the weak aftermovie. Watch for yourself in the YouTube player above.
