The entire city of New York has about 500+ events happening between three nights of Halloween weekend. Once we wade through the crap and do some crate digging, we found about 50 events that cater to our particular taste in electronic music. That is still an overwhelming amount of options and you don't really always know what you are getting yourself into.

Surrounded by four walls that encase the dancefloor with techno so harsh and ghoulish, you may just find yourself amongst the walking dead come morning. Here are the events that I suggest you shimmy down to.
HYTE NYC Halloween Weekend - Friday, October 28th & Saturday, October 29th
No need to overthink and plan too much, grab a weekend ticket and check out Chris Liebing, Paco Osuna, Drumcell & Ace Alvarez on Friday. Saturday, rest well because you have to keep moving to Loco Dice, Derrick Carter, Guti Live & Culoe de Song.
Blkmarket Трип 2 NY Halloween Party - Friday, October 28th
If you need to mix it up for a weekend, you can check out Hyte Saturday and make it to Blkmarket's Nina Kravitz Halloween party on Friday, instead. Nina Kravitz's Tрип label is showcasing two of its artists as support, Bjarki & newcomer, Nikita Zabelin. Totally recommend attending this event if you want serious techno beats and a great experience, considering Blkmarket carry the torch for being some of the top NYC underground event producers. Did I mention it goes on til 9AM?

The Rumors Ibiza man himself, bringing that beautiful haunting island vibes to Flash Factory's gothic infrastructure is definitely the top choice to start off your Halloween weekend. Supporting him will Housekeeping and Shahar.
Audion (Live) @ Output - Friday, October 28th
Matthew Dear brings his eclectic deep techno style as his alter ego, Audion this Friday at Output. He is joined by underground favorites, Mike Shannon, Miguel Senquiz & Memek with Ryan Crosson in the Panther Room all night long. This the choice for those who want more variety in one night.
Resolute & Blkmarket present Get Spooky - Saturday, October 29th
Get Spooky with Saturday's best vibe for Halloween. You have DJ Tennis, Mano Le Tough, and The Drifter with support from Connie Yin. Resolute is joining forces with Blkmarket, two of most well-known underground event producers in Brooklyn, which can only mean top notch stylin' all night long. Another sleepless night awaits, cause this party goes til 9AM!
Circoloco Halloween NY - Saturday, October 29th
Probably the most anticipated event this weekend due to the fact that nothing excites anyone more than DC10's most iconic brand coming back to NY in a big way! With the new launch of another event producer, Teksupport, and the reports of a brand new venue, it has been the buzz on the streets. Gracing us with their presence that night is Konstantin, DeWalta, Cassy b2b Tania Vulcano, Davide Squillace, Black Coffee and the Circoloco kings themselves, the Martinez Brothers. So don on your best 'non-killer' clown costume and come jiggy with us!
Jamie Jones b2b Joseph Capriati @ Cipriani - Monday, October 31st
Assuming you have recovered from Saturday night by Halloween day, you may just have enough energy to check out the most unexpected duo, Jamie Jones b2b Joseph Capriati. Slaying the dancefloor at Space last year, they're giving a proper groove on the day of the dead @ Cipriani!

Coming in with a pretty big line-up this event promises high rising jams with some really strong underground names from around the block along with the LSE label showcasing eight artists in their rooftop sculpture garden...say what?! Blessing the dancefloor are Veronica Vasicka, Beau Wanzer, Boy Harsher, Alex From Queens and R Gamble b2b Scallywag.
BangOn! presents Halloween "Warehouse of Horrors" - Saturday, October 29th
BangOn! are NYC event producers that have a killer knack for creating fun in a warehouse. This Halloween they're bringing three stages, with one being a silent disco. They have Dirtybird favorites, J.Phlip, Ardalan and Will Clarke with support from Dirty Looks, The Golden Pony and 2Tight at the Horror House stage and Ott, Big Wild & Partywave with Alex English, Luminate and Space Race at the Boneyard stage. They promise a 30ft ceiling warehouse with freaky performers, interactive art, human bowling and trick-or-treating!
Battle Hymn: Halloween Weekend - Sunday, October 30th
Some of the best parties thrown are by Ladyfag and her crew. Battle Hymn is not only the most affordable party in NYC this weekend and they have Eli Escobar, Honey Dijon and The Carry Nation on deck, which is nothing if not the best line up for the ultimate of dance parties. The floor will be glistening with baby powder before the night is over.
If you want to do something other than the eerie and the dark then here are some shows of the vibrant big room house with some groove and style. Less murderous clowns and more neon pixies in one room.
Girls & Boys Halloween presents The Masquerade with Claptone @ Webster Hall - Friday, October 28th
Claptone returns to NYC with the help of Sacha Robotti, Sleepy & Boo, Alex English, DALI & Hiyawatha to throw down some love at Webster Hall on Friday. Probably the most genre inclusive event, it is hard to find anyone who does not enjoy Claptone. So if you have a big crowd and too many taste preferences, you should all find some piece of home here.
Halloween 3000 @ House of Yes - Saturday, October 29th
House of Yes has risen amongst the ranks of the most unique venue in Brooklyn. Throwing extravagant themed parties in a beautiful venue with performers and vaudeville acts. Moon Boots with David Kiss, Zephyr Ann, Ryan Clover & Fabi Jugo are the acts for that night and it will give you a new meaning of doing the time warp!
No Fantasy Required: Tiga (Live) - Monday, October 31st
Tiga debuts his LIVE show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Halloween. Definitely worth a trip if you are a fan of his work, with the nu-house style and solid vocals. It is definitely a night to dance to along with Riton and RINSED crew's Blacky II and Dan Wender.

I call them Burner favorites because a lot of the artists are recurring Burning Man attendees and of course, the crowd will be as colorful as the rainbow. There is no event with Lee Burridge that will ever have a negative review. Add on Nu (live), Behrouz, YokoO, Stavroz (live) & Hoj and your third eye might make an appearance on the dance floor with you. Hosted by Babël NY & House of Yes, the night will be nothing short of theatrical and mystical all rolled into one.
Desert Hearts @ Flash Factory - Saturday, October 29th
The favorite Desert Hearts crew is swinging in on Saturday at Flash Factory to do a Halloween Takeover and it is going to be mystical for sure. Heavy with their tribal tones and atmospheric groove, Porkchop, Marbs, Deep Jesus, Lee Reynolds and Mikey Lion will not disappoint on this journey through the night.
Mischief Day Ball @ Output - Sunday, October 30th
If you find that after Desert Hearts you have the energy to spare, shimmy over to Output's afterparty Sunday morning @ 8AM with Bedouin, Chaim, Viken Arman, Nicolas Matar and Timujin and basically cap your weekend with a well-deserved keel over into bed!

Probably one of the best and most interested pop-up parties in Brooklyn, Rinsed, has done numerous amazing shows that all but disappear from existence the next day.

Following their Get Spooky party, Resolute is throwing a rager on their own and their line-up is yet to be announced. But don't fret, it'll definitely be a great night and it won't matter who is playing.
