With all the craziness in this world caused by things like the US election and the current DDoS attack, its nice to know that some things stay the same. Fortunately, I have the best and brightest future bass tracks to keep things consistently vibey. This week, KRNE takes a breather from his usual trap stylings in favor of big, bold future bass production, and one of dubstep's original dons, 12th Planet, ventures into future bass territory.
Jai Wolf - "Drive ft. The Chain Gang of 1975 (KRNE Remix)"
Although he's known for his trap production, KRNE started off as a future bass producer. His latest offering is a return to his roots, a massive, anthemic future bass tune.
Melvv & MOONZz - "Goodbye"
Melvv and MoonZz are a match made in future bass heaven. Light and playful vibes on this one.
kkami x BAD ONE - "Step To Me"
Chill trap is still going strong thanks to producers like kkami and Bad One. Lush synth interludes surround aggressive, groove heavy sections.
Baauer - "Paauer"
Baauer transcends genre yet again on his latest production. It blends drum and bass style breaks, trap rhythms, and a massive morphing reese bass sound.
Element - "Dimensions"
Element fuses neoclassical chord progressions with huge future bass synths and trap drum fills. If you're into anything that could be described as "epic" you might like this one.
Shallou x RKCB - "Slow"
Very chill sounds from Shailou and RKCB on this one.
Bonzai - "Cruel"
I saw Mura Masa a few nights ago in LA. Although most of his shows have been with NAO, this one had a different vocalist, Bonzai. The more I hear from her the more I like her. This track feels like an endless buildup of sorts, reminiscent of a more accessible Oneohtrix Point Never.
Mija & Vindata - "Better (12th Planet X Team EZY Remix)"
A very unexpected future bass remix from LA dubstep don 12th Planet and Team EZY. This one is fast-paced, bright, and futuristic, very similar to Wave Racer's sound.
Hundred Waters - "Innocent (KEFF Remix)"
KEFF keeps things super mellow on his Hundred Waters remix.
White Cliffs ft. Hugh EP - "Come Here"
White Cliffs blend future bass with dancehall vocals and rhythms.
