fabric releases fifth transparency statement

The statement reveals the money from the club's #saveourculture campaign will go towards 'worthy causes.'

fabric has released their fifth transparency statement. Gary Kilbey, fabric's managing director, announced in the statement that the fundraising campaign will close on Wednesday, November 23rd at 5 PM GMT. 

According to Kilbey, 7,000 people have donated £326,000 already, and they hope to use part of the donated money to work towards flawed portions of the Licensing Act 2003.

"We envisage having a substantial surplus due to the overwhelming support that's been shown to us and these residual funds will be used to help other worthy causes within the industry, including Philip Kolvin QC's pursuance of licensing reform which is he currently championing,"

 They have also announced that they are working on new artwork for the club - 

"If you donated, keep an eye on your inbox as we will very shortly be inviting you to cement your part in fabric's history."
