There are many comments swirling on the internet about how best to look at the next four years, and while some are choosing to be pretty pessimistic, A-Trak himself is looking at the future with a glimmer of hope. Using the wise train of thought that music can be a great healer, A-Trak has launched a mix series thats going to be helping a lot of people get through the headaches that may lie ahead.
He's dropped a mix from himself and a mix from his brother Dave 1 of Chromeo, and today he's dropped a beautiful mix by Peanut Butter Wolf of Stones Throw Records.
On the third mix, A-Trak has commented-
It's Inauguration Day. America feels completely polarized and fractured. Some people are ecstatic, others are terrified. I know how I feel: I'm vehemently opposed to the new president and his cabinet. But I also think there's a need for togetherness with the actual people and that neighbors with different views still need to feel like neighbors. Music is one of the things that can help mend relationships. Music heals. So with that said, Peanut Butter Wolf to the rescue with the 3rd installment of this mix series. By the way, this pic is us in 1998. He's been putting me on to music for that long. Enjoy the sounds and spread love.
