Iconic Japanese Composer Ryuichi Sakamoto announces Solo Studio Release

Milan Records will drop the record on April 28th.

Ryuichi Sakamoto, the Japanese producer and composer who is most well-known for his work scoring films like The Revenant and as one-third of Yellow Magic Orchestra, has announced that he will be releasing his first solo studio album in Eight Years

According to the Fader, Sakamoto has released 19 solo studio albums, six live albums, several compilation albums, two extended plays, and countless EPs and singles.

The yet nameless record will be out April 28 via Milan Records.
