I've had my eyes on Squareffekt's music for a while now, ever since he started releasing music under Portugal's Enchufada Records.
He's grown a lot since those days, but at its core, the essence of his music still remains the same. Ethereal and atmospheric, overlayed over some sick bass-music foundations, the resulting music is part zouk, part something unique entirely to him (and Bison, on the occasion they work together).
Today we've got a premiere with the talented artist, which guest features Noché and Populous and is titled "Bakongo." The song is an eclectic mesh of sounds that feel like a burst of color. It's vibrant and addicting and worth stopping whatever you're doing for.
