Japan's Fuji Rock Might Be the Festival That Convinces You To Take a Trip to Asia

Includes an eclectic lineup featuring Aphex Twin, Björk, The xx, LCD Soundsystem, and more.

Although Japan's music festival scene is still emerging, if Fuji Rock has anything to go by, it's going to be one of their best years yet. They've unveiled their phase one artists, and it has us seriously considering on whether or not we should book tickets now. Featuring an eclectic lineup that includes Bjork, Aphex Twin, Major Lazer, while mixing in names like Goldroom, Queens of the Stone Age, Sampha, and more.

The festival will run from July 28 through 30 at the Naeba Ski Park in the Niigata Prefecture, which is on the main island. Tickets will be on sale on January 18th. The festival is apparently free for those Jr. High School and under (15 and under), so for those that have struggled to get into a festival because of age-restrictions, this is one to take advantage of!
