Sometimes it is out of adversity that we see the brightest moments. In what some might rationalize as our weakest state or condition, the true grit of a person reveals itself as noble, respectable and very touching.

With this premiere on DONTDOIT, Detroit artist ADMN translated grief into inspiration for a recently passed friend. He took his own pain and did what he knew best to memorialize him: make damn fine techno and tech house.

"The inspiration for “The Fall,” EP, is UNDENIABLE emotion. The title track, ‘The Fall’, is a tribute to one of my closest mates and brother from another, a techno & house LEGEND, computer geek, and Detroit native, Brian James Hill. Brian fell victim to addiction and passed away unexpectedly late last year. The music contained in this EP was written following the news of his passing and serve to illustrate that although some of us may take, “the fall”, earlier than others, we all eventually make our, “way home”, where ever that may be.
