WAVe, a battery-integrated case for wireless headphones, has launched their Kickstarter today. The case is perfect for music lovers, gamers, editors, and more than need to keep their wireless headphones alive and on the go.
Each model of the WAVe case features an integrated 3000 mAh rechargeable battery to power most wireless headphones up to 10 times before needing to be recharged itself. Clad in premium Napa leather finish, the lightweight case easily slides into a backpack or purse to protect its valuable contents when not in use. The WAVe also features an external full size USB port allowing users to charge just about any other desired device.
The WAVe’s integrated battery pack can be fully charged in 2 hours and 45 minutes, so it can easily be fully powered between the morning and evening commutes. Additionally, the integrated battery will hold its charge for up to an entire year. Charging times for various headphones will vary, but most should realize 90 percent charge in just 20 minutes and a full 100 percent charge in 30 minutes.
Jeff Overall notes-
“All of our product designs have their start in our daily lives whether that is the need to shoot better POV footage while out exploring the world or finding a way to hike into the wilderness with a drone, and the WAVe is the next example of that tradition. We wanted to ensure everyone could take their music anywhere while making sure that investment was protected and always powered up, and that’s exactly what the WAVe accomplishes.”
The Kickstarter package will start at $39.99, and there are currently two options available in this initial launch. The WAVe Universal is purpose-built for fold-flat style headphones such as the Bose® QuietComfort®25, QuietComfort®35, SoundLink®, and similar models. The other option is WAVe Contoured, which is crafted to work with popular over-ear styles such as Beats TM Solo 2, Solo 3, Studio Wireless and similar designs.
