Jlin to release second album Black Origami on Planet Mu

UK label Planet Mu welcomes back Jlin for her second album titled Black Origami following on from the success of Jlin’s debut album, Dark Energy, in 2015. Her upcoming record will feature collaborative work with William Basinski, Holly Herndon, Halcyon Veil producer Fawkes, and Cape Town rapper Dope Saint Jude. Inspired by her recent collaborations with choreographer Avril Stormy, Jlin says “movement played a great role in Black Origami”,

Black Origami is out 19 of May on 2 LP, CD or digital download. In the press release, Jlin noted:

I chose to title the album “Black Origami” because like “Dark Energy” I still create from the beauty of darkness and blackness.”
