Another seven days have passed and we're excited to provide you with our top ten favourite trap tracks to get listening to.

We kick off our chart with this banging "lift" from LUCA LUSH, who has put a slick spin on UZI VERT's original. Up for grabs as a free download, this is bold and energised from start to finish.

2) Lemay - "Countless" (feat. Krime Fyter)

Another free download, this one out via Elysian Records, rising producer Lemay has really turned up the heat here. Those riotous breakdowns and the raw tones of Krime Fyter make for a formidable pairing.

3) NIKOZ - "Raining Down"

Nailing a futuristic, slowly developing sound with this one, NIKOZ has moved from strength to strength with his productions - and is set to continue doing so as 2017 progresses.

4) Lorthern - "Full Stop"

Released as part of an ongoing series through Luxe Records, this snappily paced, relentlessly busy sound is a wicked little number from Lorthern. A satisfying blend of choppy melodies and rattling bass drops, "Full Stop" is truly unique.

A well deserved second addition from LUCA LUSH this week - and this time it's a slice of original work. Fully earning its "WHIRLWIND" title, this all-encompassing blend of earth-shattering bass jerks, contrasting use of hi hats and a mystical, hypnotic melody means you will get swept up in this in no time.

6) Jsquared - "Choppa"

Plenty of low-slung hip hop vibes on this one. A stripped back melody makes way for hyped up vocal snatches, a subtle but stuttering bassline and drawn out chords that help to ramp up the atmospheric quality.

7) LittleKings ft. Tinggi - "Glowing In The Dark"

Hitting more of a pop/electronic/trap sound than straight up trap, but this cool little offering from Dutch act LittleKings caught our attention with its rhythmical sway and stirring vocals from Tinggi.

8) OXILO - "California"

Smooth, silky vocals and powerful brass instrumentation sit happily side by side here, and the sensual sounds of "California" are oh so good. Those catchy vocals will have you hooked in no time at all - we look forward to hearing this one played out.

9) Vocaliz - "Take Me"

"Take Me" is on a chilled tip, but still retains some grit thanks to those oozing rap bars. In contradiction, this track features striking strings and a deep flow - great production from Vocaliz.

10) YAAK - "Mercy"

We're finishing on a strong with "Mercy," and this tune is here to push you through to the weekend. Steppy and rugged in its structure, YAAK incorporates bass, hip hop and grime elements into this stomper.
