BI-WEEKLY TOP 10 HIP-HOP CHART - MAY 8, 2017 - Magnetic Magazine
May is starting off strong with these massive hip hop hits.

We're back and ready to kick-off this Monday with a new hip hop chart. As summer heads steadily toward our way and we start weighing out what makes it onto our summer playlists, the songs are truly starting to heat up and it was definitely difficult to figure out what ten songs make it onto this bi-weekly chart. From Meek Mill to Logic to Lil Yachty, we've got a little something for everyone.

MEEK MILL - BACKBOARD FT. YOUNG THUG

Meek just dropped a surprise 3 track ep titled Meekend Music, and while people have been using the talent as a punching bag, when it actually comes to the music, he didn't disappoint. This one with Young Thug is absolutely massive.

FUTURE - MASK OFF

Visuals are finally out for Future's massive hit "Mask Off." Not only is he not wearing a mask in the video, he is also not wearing any sunglasses or a hat either, very unlike Future. With a special feature from Amber Rose, Future is absolutely killing it in the visuals game.

TWELVE'LEN - HUMAN GODS FT. DENZEL CURRY

I very much like this song, and upon first listen, I'm sure you will as well. Denzel Curry always brings in heavy energy in everything he does, and the track's dancey production brings the best out of Twelve'len.

LIL' YACHTY - BRING IT BACK

Lil' Yachty doing what Lil' Yachty does best, making very interesting music. While he's definitely a divisive talent in the hip hop game, he's never short of keeping the world on their toes. Teenage Emotions drops May 26th, and while we're not sure what to expect, one thing is for sure, we're at least going to take a listen.

LOGIC - EVERYBODY (ALBUM)

Logic is back with his 3rd studio album titled Everybody. Unlike his previous album, there are a ton of features from Killer Mike, Black Though, Khalid, Juicy J and more. There was early controversy between him and Freddie Gibbs, but things seemed to have been a mere misunderstanding. Controversy or not, Logic has a lot to say and we can't wait.

TORY LANEZ - MAGNOLIA (SWAVE SESSION)

It's not easy to hop on a remix of such a massive track, but Tory out here remixing one of the songs of the summer and making it look damn easy. The original version of "Magnolia" is absolutely massive, but this one has rekindled our love for both Tory Lanez and Playboi Carti.

DJ KHALED - I'M THE ONE FT. JUSTIN BIEBER, CHANCE THE RAPPER, QUAVO & LIL' WAYNE

Regardless of what you think of DJ Khaled, the man can make songs go number 1. After having a huge 2016, he's back with a powerhouse of features for his new single "I'm The One." Featuring an all-star list of artists, this one has us pumped.

A$AP ROCKY & A$AP FERG - WRONG

The two standout members of the Mob are back together for their new track "Wrong." As always, the duo know how to bring their insatiable musical chemistry to life, and it's easy to remember exactly why we fell in love with the A$AP mob.

JAZZ CARTIER - TEMPTED (VIDEO)

Jazz dropped his single "Tempted' earlier in the year and now we finally have a video for it. The Toronto-based rapper has been absolutely killing it, and he's still a pretty underrated artist in the overall rap scene. Make sure to keep an eye out on everything he's been up to.

WALE - SHINE (ALBUM)

Wale drops his latest full-length album titled Shine, and while he's been in the game for a long time now, he still has a lot to say. With excellent production and some killer lines, the talented rapper is proving that he's still got a lot of fight left in him.
