Fyre Festival is Threatening to Sue Attendees

Things get even murkier.

News is coming out today that Fyre Festival is looking to file a lawsuit against certain attendees that complained and called the festival a 'refugee camp.'

For those that have been away from the internet over the past week, Fyre Festival was an ultra-luxurious event held on a private island in the Bahamas that went disastrously when attendees found that almost nothing was ready in time for the event. People quickly took to social media to complain about the event, which then immediately took the internet by storm.

It has been found that the festival has already sent one cease and desist letter to a social media user, alleging that their posts could ""incite violence, rioting or civil unrest." They further added- "If someone innocent does get hurt as a result [of your postings] Fyre Festival will hold you accountable and responsible… Inciting violence crosses the line".

In other news, a look into Billy Mcfarland's past may have indicated that Fyre Festival was always doomed (via Huffington Post and NY Magazine). Finally, Fyre Festival is also offering VIP passes in lieu of refunds for this year's attendees...
