Otto Knows is known for his EDM hits and for working with everyone from Sebastian Ingrosso, one half of Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Avicii, along others, and for making big festivals even more epic with his incredible music.

His latest track "With You" saw the talented artist move from the massive festival ready sounds for something that falls in line with a more indie dance style. When we first heard the track, we knew we had to learn more about the shift in style and sound!

Hi Otto Knows, thanks for taking the time to chat with us. You've made a leap into taking a more 'indie dance' spin into your work. Were there any major challenges in shifting and being influenced by different styles?

I really never thought of it that way. I just do what I think is fun for the moment. I guess, for me, the only difference with this song and my previous work is that this is a lot faster!

To go along with that, were there any concerns about what your fans might feel about taking a shift in style and sound?

I trust that my fans will appreciate the same music as I do instead of looking at it as a shift in style and sound.

You've recently released your latest track "With You," which brings a whole variety of influences and crafts it with an overarching indie dance sound. What were the major influences in making this song?

I always listen to a lot of different music so I can't really specify what the influence for With You is. I wanted to make a song that people really want to party to and I believe that With You is that kind of song!

What one advice would you give those that are looking to make it in music?

Try to be creative and do something that no one has ever heard before.

Finally, what can people expect from you in 2017?

I like to keep everything open and try not to make super obvious songs. But you can expect a lot of new hopefully inspiring music and I always look forward to a lot of touring!
