Back in the day, which was a Wednesday for those who didn't know, there was a time when music blogs actually posted music. That was a joke, but to be specific, blogs would post FREE music. Well free for the readers at least... Tracks from the likes of Justice, Kill The Noise (when he used to make nu-disco/funky electro), Simian Mobile Disco, Erol Alkan, and so many more great artists that I can't even list all of them. Oh, and SebastiAn. What the hell happened to that legend?!
Anyways, Blog-House has had a bit of resurgence, and to celebrate, Insomniac Records and Sinden have teamed up for a 9-track free EP filled with collabs, that bridge the gap between the blog-house era, and today's bass house groove. Accompanying the mix is a shirt that was created by none other than OG streetwear designer Rick Klotz of Freshjive fame. The shirt is a throwback to the classic rave fliers and posters that used to cover the walls of your favorite big cities, and perfectly embodies all that is the underground.
