LCD Soundsystem has finally delivered the news that fans have been hoping to hear since they reformed in 2016. The group has announced their comeback album titled American Dream, which will be released September 1 via DFA/Columbia Records. In addition to the new album, the James Murphy-fronted group has announced a slew of world tour dates through the end of the year.

Clocking in at 10 tracks in total, American Dream contains two previously released singles, in addition to eight brand new songs.

Ever since the group announced their comeback, speculation has been rife about when an album would be released. With the release of “American Dream” and “Call The Police,” that dream started to become a reality and Murphy solidified it even more with a recent Facebook post saying that the album was complete. Now fans can start the countdown to September 1 for American Dream.
