Go Freek cast themselves as the masters of sleazy bass early on in their career, stepping out in front of their peers with a sound that is truly unique and wonderfully difficult to classify. The Australian duo has once again redefined what modern club music can be with their latest triumph of sound design, "Put it Down." Calling this dirty wouldn't do it justice. The bass line is downright obscene as it slithers and slides beneath swinging drums. It seems the boys are always experimenting with their sound and finding new ways to give you a stanky bass face. In this case, the result is a dark and dank slab of gutter funk.
