Shiftee - New Bap & Beyond 4000x4000

Shiftee is always a surprise, uncompromising in both his personal musical endeavors and in his record label. His latest project is his '& Beyond' series, and tomorrow he will be premiering his second release, and we're excited to present the latest track "Watch Yourself" featuring the musical mastery of MoBo the Great. The song itself is ethereal and yet still with a highly contagious musical beat, and the resulting work showcases Shiftee's ability to showcase emotion on the dancefloor.

On the track, Shiftee explains his collaboration:

"I first linked with MoBo after hearing some of her crazy unreleased music. I sent her a ton of beats, but the one that clicked was actually a quick sketch I made on my phone. We got in the studio together in NYC and banged out the the track in one session. I love her confidence on the song and the overall relaxed, yet powerful vibe. Anyone who steps to her better watch yourself."

While MoBo The Great notes:

"I met Shiftee through his manager, Johnny and we instantly hit it off. He sent me some beats via email and I connected with what turned out to be "watch yourself" because there was something very eerie to the record but still had a bounce. Inspired by Mystikal's "Shake Your Ass," I stayed up until 4am writing that record along with another one for the session the following day. I love the record because it has a vibe i haven't heard too much of. Shiftee did a amazing job on the production and I'm glad I was able to be a part of bringing it to life."

Check out the track below. Shiftee's latest project in its entirety, New Bap & Beyond, will be out on tomorrow. The EP will feature the work of TT The Artist, Cakes Da Killa, MoBo The Great, & Svpreme Ink.
