Champagne Drip Millennia EP

Champagne Drip has released a new four-track EP Millennia today via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats imprint. The label may be pretty new, but it is already making waves and up-and-comer Champagne Drip is the latest to make a statement with a release on the label.

The LA-based producer, real name Sam Pool, got his break with this project in 2014 putting out remixes for Bassnectar and on Mad Decent and has grown from there. This new EP sees that growth continue, as he incorporates various elements of dubstep, future bass, funk and trip-hop into the four songs. They don’t all sound alike, nor do they completely clash.

"Millennia might be my most diverse Champagne Drip record to date. I've always found myself creating a lot of different styles no matter what I'm going for,” says Champagne Drip of the EP. “This might be because my musical taste is so diverse. It feels really honest to make a record that has pop-electronic juxtaposed with dark-and-dirty experimental bass music.”

Champagne Drip is going to have a busy end of the summer with touring across the globe. Head to his website for more information.
