Los Angeles-based alternative rock band FAULKNER is quickly making a name for itself as one of the best up and coming acts in today's music industry. This past Saturday night, FAULKNER delivered a triumphant performance when they opened for King Washington at their sold-out record release party at The Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA. FAULKNER's unapologetically subversive sound blended lyrical rawness with powerful rhythms, polished percussion and technical precision resulting in an incredible live show.
The musical chemistry between the bandmates was undeniable. As the lead singer, Lucas Asher proved his abilities to command the stage. To the audience's amazement, the band debuted their newest unreleased single "Hot Streak," which could sonically be described as a cross between The Clash and The Weeknd. When FAULKNER played their hit single "Revolutionary, it became unquestionable that the band was destined for tremendous success.
FAULKNER is best known for their collaboration with RZA titled “NY Anthem," which is played regularly at NY Yankees home games. Their hit single “I’m Stoned” also received radio play from LA's number one rock station KROQ. Next week FAULKNER hits the road with revered indie rock band, Atlas Genius. They will also be performing with the renowned punk rock band, The Kickback, in August. FAULKNER will be releasing their highly anticipated debut album this fall produced by RZA, Mark Needham (The Killers) and JP Bowersock (The Strokes). The future is looking brighter than ever for FAULKNER.
