Whether you're all about EDM, or are a Berghain regular, you've probably heard the name Odesza at least once. They went from college graduates to superstars via their laid back indie bass vibes. "It's really important to fail," says Harrison Mills in an interview with Native Instruments. He goes on to explain that from failure comes evolution and that without the former, you really can't have the latter. To be honest, I'm not huge on them. I'm not opposed to their music by any means, and if I hear one of their tracks, my first reaction isn't to change the song. But, I will say that they absolutely excel in their field, and their music is very well produced, to say the least.

Studio giant Native Instruments has teamed up with the duo, to give you an inside look at how they go about creating that sound they've become so well known for as well as a glimpse into their new album. The returning theme throughout the video is that experimentation and failure are the main reasons they've been so successful, and you can really feel their passion for the music that they make. Again, regardless of your musical preference, seeing and hearing such things is really inspiring, especially in today's environment where everyone is trying to copy each other, and much of the musical landscape is rather lackluster.

Although the video is on the shorter side, there's not much else that needs to be said by the duo, and what I took away from it was that putting love and effort into exploring your production tools goes a long way. Check out the video below, and let us know your thoughts on it. It also kind of makes you want to move to Seattle...
