Once more we’re slap bang in the middle of another exciting summer line-up of music festivals. Over the forthcoming weeks those lucky enough to be attending who have scored tickets to see their favourite acts will be treated to a whole host of exciting musical performances and events up and down the country.

Nowadays of course the festival circuit isn’t just all about live bands and mainstream acts it’s an eclectic mix of sounds and rhythm. Even solo acts such as Ed Sheeran, who recently closed out the final day of Glastonbury, are being lined up for big festival appearances.

And once more big named DJ headliners are booking their places in the upcoming circuit line-up and blowing away their audiences with their sensational sets.

Fatboy Slim still delivers big!

It was another impressive and memorable year down in Somerset a few weeks back as the stage was set for an incredible selection of musical acts. The Silver Hayes area was typically awash with exciting electro, techno, hip hop and grime talent and there were a few notable names on the line-up.

Once such familiar face that graced the stage once more was Fatboy Slim, ready to roll out some nostalgic beats and tunes to the hungry crowds. Norman has popped up at Glasto on numerous occasions over the past 20 years and always manages to bring his own unique style of crowd-pleasing performances.

Miami was once more the setting for this years incredibly stirring Ultra Music Festival and there were plenty of headline acts worthy of praise. But it was French duo Justice, that still remain one of the most exciting live electronic acts around, who were bringing their A-game.

Gaspard and Xavier were on fine form as they took to the Live Stage and wowed crowds with their exhilarating playlist and accompanying live musical edits. The whole performance and set design was flawless and truly electrifying and every single beat was felt by everyone lucky enough to be in attendance.

And with the imposing talent and company they were surrounded by over this great weekend of live music, coupled with the no-so positive reaction to their recent third album release, to pull such a memorable show out of the bag such as this is even more admirable.

To keep tabs on the best acts due to take to the stage over the summer it might be in your best interest to plan things out using this festival planner and there are some great acts scheduled in already.

One of the most exciting dance festivals on the planet is of course Creamfields and this year marks the events’ 20 anniversary. So naturally we can expect a whole host of big named DJ’s who will be set to drop it over the bank holiday weekend.

One such act we’re excited to see is the welcome return of the legendary Pete Tong. At the ripe old age of 56 he’s still touring the world and set to arrive in Liverpool for his set on the 26 August following a double-gig at the V Fest the week before.
