Whether it’s working with cannabis media leaders MERRY JANE or battle born brand Remedy, Krista and her team of unicorns always have a mix of old school and new school favorites playing in the background, which is why we asked her to share her favorite songs for seshin’ out to. "Music is a must for my team and I," she says, "My music taste ranges from classic James Taylor to the Hollywood Undead and everything in between."

“In My Head” by Ollie Crowe

Every time I listen to this song it reminds me to get out of my head. Isn't it funny how we can get caught up in our own minds? I love this when I am in the heart of a creative session or doing some writing with a great sativa. Give me some Tahoe Hydro Blackjack and I'm going to get some creative things done!

“Take Your Mama” by Scissor Sisters

My best friend sent me this song when it first came out and I was blasted. Watch the video. If that isn't the best trip of your life in video form I don't know what is. The blue prom dress cracks me up and reminds me of those times in high school when you got high with friends before formal dances to escape the high school bullshit. I appreciate this song most with a glass of wine and an Altai chocolate in the evening.

“Tryna Wife” by Jo'zzy

I actually met Jo'zzy way back before she did this song and she's just the chillest person. I instantly liked her and I love the mellow vibes of this song. She is a brilliant songwriter and rapper, but the low key vibe to this song means I can listen to it on repeat over and over. I appreciate it with a Remedy classic OG like Dirk's OG in the evening as I end my day and head towards sleep.

“Legacy” by Fefe Dobson

I am addicted to this song. It's impossible to have a bad day and not let this song snap you out of it. I love how positive and upbeat it is. Grab your favorite sativa and dance around your living room with your best friends. It's the ultimate bad ass song for building an empire. Go be a boss! Rule the world!

“Everywhere I Go” by Hollywood Undead

Try to listen to this epic anthem and NOT accomplish everything on your "to do" list. It's totally inappropriate, filled with profanity, and not suitable for work, but if I have a pile of things to get done, it's my go to. Try it with your favorite sativa hybrid and knock out whatever you didn't want to get done. I saw these guys live at Rock N Rio in Vegas last year and they won me over with their great beats. Be warned: the lyrics will make you blush.
