Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival has announced its 2017 lineup. BEMF, as it is called because nobody has time for Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival on the dancefloor, the streets or online, will take over Brooklyn this fall between October 12-14. It boasts some heavy hitters in electronic music like Bicep (live), DJ Marky, Gorgon City, Tokimonsta, Matthew Dear and Green Velvet all on the bill.
Other names on the lineup include Kill Krenzy, Riva Starr, Leon Vynhall, Pete Tong, Kingdom, Hardvard Bass, Jimmy Edgar, Low End Theory and Kobosil. More names will be announced as we get closer to kick off. The events will take place at clubs around Brooklyn like Output, Music Hall of Williamsburg, House of Yes, Villain, Good Room and Analog BKNY. The Lot Radio will host some sessions in conjunction with the event.
In addition to club events and live shows, the festival will also include industry panels and a record fair presented by Other Music.
Tickets are on sale for many of the events, so head to their website to pick them up now. The high-profile ones won’t last long.
