Just one week after the original's release, Alex Adair tabs Felon for a remix.

Alex Adair released his summer new single “Casual” last week and is already looking to keep the momentum going with a remix. He has tasked London house trio, Felon, to give the tune a bit more of a club-ready feel to it.

Felon keep much of the original intact, but give the song a sturdier backbone with a bigger bassline.

"We really loved the vocal on this one so it came together really quickly,” says the trio. “We wanted to keep it fairly anthemic in the drop downs but still keep the drops nice punchy. Its been going down really well in our sets!"

The premise behind the song is a tale of modern love, or lack thereof, and the struggle to keep things casual when feelings get involved.

“The premise behind 'Casual' is being in a physical relationship with someone and nothing more. Then when things start to progress and become more serious, you just want to go back to how it was before; 'Let's keep it casual’.”

The Felon remix for “Casual” is available everywhere today.
