Charles Bradley has died at the age of 68. The famed soul singer died on Saturday after a second battle with cancer that recently forced him to cancel the rest of tour dates in 2017. His colleagues, fans and friends have remembered him for his passion, talent, soul and so much more.
Charles Bradley came to fame late in life, proving that good things can happen to those who wait. He was born on November 5, 1948 in Gainesville, FL and then moved to Brooklyn at the age of 8. He released his first album No Time For Dreaming (2011) at the age of 62, and Victim of Love in 2013. Changes, released in 2016, was critically acclaimed and allowed him to tour extensively.
Bradley will be missed by all of us in music. Our hearts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
