Much has been said about the amount of music venues in London and the UK closing over the past two decades because of rising rents, shifting demographics and more. The Midlands has also seen its fair share of closures, but good news is coming with a new venue opening named CRANE. The Birmingham venue will open on September 29th and they are not holding back with their opening lineup.
Steve Lawler, Richy Ahmed, Kölsch, Cristoph and Roth$tein are playing in the CRANE main room, then the likes of Pawsa and Pax play in the Cellar and Paradox City and others perform in the Hangar. Get details here.
The venue will host a variety of events beyond music like art exhibitions, markets, product launches and street food shows. It is a large warehouse with several rooms, including a terrace that overlooks the nearby canal. See a few pictures and a video of the space below.
