Last night was the BET hip-hop awards and beyond being yet another somewhat unspectacular award show, probably, (was being miserable after the US didn’t make the World Cup somehow), but there was one noteworthy event – Eminem. The Detroit rapper went in on a 4-and-a-half minute cypher against President Donald Trump, taking him down on a variety of issues, such as his racist ways, his handling of Puerto Rico, gun control, tweeting and more. He also drew a line in the sand with his fans, saying you are either with me or with him.
"But we better give Obama props / 'Cause what we got in office now's a kamikaze / That'll probably cause a nuclear holocaust / And while the drama pops / And he waits for shit to quiet down he'll just gas his plane up and fly around 'til the bombing stops,” raps Eminem in the first half, referring to heightened tensions with North Korea, Iran, Venezuela and elsewhere.
He also takes down Bannon and the Nazi, white nationalists Trump says are “very fine people,” in lines like “From his endorsement of Bannon / Support for the Klansmen / Tiki torches in hand for the soldier that's black / And comes home from Iraq / And is still told to go back to Africa.”
Watch the cypher below.
