Ghostface Killah has always been ahead of the pack with his rhymes. Whether it is with Wu-Tang Clan or as a solo artist, he has been a trailblazer over his long career. Now he is looking to get into business on that same risky, cutting edge – cyrptocurrency. Unsurprisingly, since the business is about money, it is called Cream Capital.
According to CNBC, the company was co-founded by the Wu-Tang Clan member. It is attempting to raise $30 million in capital through an initial coin offering (ICO).
Cream is inspired by the legendary Wu-Tang song C.R.E.A.M. which stands for "Cash Rules Everything Around Me." However according to CEO Brett Westbrook, it stands for something a little different, “Crypto Rules Everything Around Me,” which he claims they got patented.
The company will be selling “Cream Dividend” tokens in November, which can be exchanged for Ether tokens. Cream says it has operational cryptocurrency ATMs active in North Carolina and wants to be a part of "more than half of the global cryptocurrency ATM market" by 2020.
Ghostface knows a thing or two about cash, so we will see how this goes.
