A new book coming out tomorrow by Corbin Reiff titled Lighters In The Sky goes to world where we all have been and love to revisit – concerts. The book looks at the greatest concerts and festivals of the past 56 years with bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Pink Floyd, Prince, David Bowie, Tupac, Outkast, Coachella and Kanye West, just to name a few of the luminaries included in the book.

Some excerpts have been released in the lead-up to the release tomorrow, including one about Coachella on Consequence of Sound last week. It goes way back to 1999 when Coachella was in its infancy, boasting a lineup with The Chemical Brothers, DJ Shadow, Rage Against The Machine, Moby, Tool, Beck and more. It chronicles just how close the festival was to going under because they lost so much money, but thankfully it managed to stay afloat. Read about it here.
