Kaskade Covering Holiday Classics On New Christmas Album

Damn Kaskade, looking suave as hell on that album cover.
Kaskade Christmas

The holidays are just about upon us and that means Christmas albums. Generally it is pop stars that like to try their hand at either writing new Christmas songs or covering the classics, but some electronic acts & labels have gone out and done it themselves. Kaskade has announced his intention to do one himself, detailing the LP today with a tracklist and release date.

In a blog post, he details the inspiration as a former choir kid and process for the album. It is meant for everyone.

The 13-track album will reimagine classic Christmas songs like “Holy Night,” “Deck The Halls,” “Christmas is Here” and “Santa Baby.” It has features from frequent collaborators and some new names as well. Among those on the LP include Ilsey, Skylar Grey, Jane XØ and Late Night Alumni.

Also who knew Kaskade could clean up so well with that album cover, even if he isn't wearing pants. He has come a long way from the adidas tracksuit, soulpatch & jeans combo – thankfully.

His rework of “Deck The Halls” is out now. Listen to it below or pick it up here. Kaskade Christmas will be released next Friday, November 24th. Get in the spirit.
