Premiere: Indie Electronic Duo Slenderbodies Come Alive On New Single "Amnesia"

Slenderbodies share a new single from their upcoming Fabulist Extended EP.

New Mind of a Genius signees, Slenderbodies, are starting to get some buzz with their indie-electronic song that translates well from a chilled out listening session to the live venue. We are happy to premiere the latest cut, “Amnesia” from their forthcoming Fabulist Extended EP.

The tune has a very ZHU-like composition, but still brings something unique to the table. They sing in breezy and airy vocals of a hazy memory for a past lover after waking up with retrograde amnesia over soft and steady percussion with an irresistible guitar carrying the melody.

“This track tells the story of a person that undergoes an intense brain operation,” explains Max and Ben from Slenderbodies to Magnetic. “As a result they have retrograde amnesia, and only remember their lover”
