Sundance Festival has announced its 2018 entries. Among those includes the world premiere for a documentary about legendary New York City nightclub Studio 54, simply titled, wait for it, Studio 54.
The documentary will follow Ian Schrager and Steve Rubell who created “the greatest club of all time” at the height of clubbing in the 1970s. It is described as “a disco hothouse of beautiful people, drugs, and sex.” Sounds like a party to me.
The film is directed by Matt Tyrnauer and produced by Tyranuer, John Battsek, Corey Reeser.
Stay tuned for a trailer or any more release info.
