Kim Ann Foxman’s Firehouse has been lighting up dancefloor since its inception and that is not going to change with the latest released by Jozef K & Winter Son. The pair has cooked up a bit of delicious and groovy piano house with a new EP and we have the title track "Togetherness."
The new tune comes right out of the gate with a sturdy bassline and a certain warmth with a echoing shout ricocheting around the mix with a piano piercing right through. And just when you think the track is about to fade out, it comes right back with another barrage of piano house goodness.
''After the huge success of "Tribal Rhythm" we are super buzzing to return to Firehouse for our second release. The support was huge from Jackmaster to Pete Tong and we are hoping for a repeat with this EP,” says Jozef K to Magnetic about releasing on Firehouse. Speaking to the song, he notes that it has been one of their most in demand tracks for quite some time.
“Musically this 4 track EP is a continuation of our old school house sound. Packed with classic house pianos, jacking drum programming and those early Chicago feelings,” says the DJ. “The A1 'Togetherness' is easily the most ID'd of ours from DJ sets across the globe and is one of, if not the track we are most proud. (We also dig the rest of the EP and hope you do too!) This is going to be our last EP together for a while and happy to end on a bang.''
