Bicep have had a banner year, releasing their debut self-titled artist album and taking their live show all over the world. Gearing up for a business holiday period and closing out, Bicep made one last indelible impression on our ear drums over the weekend with a brand new Essential Mix.

The two-hour mix is a spellbinding ride of melodic techno and house. The pair dive into some tracks by Josh Wink, Jacob Korn, CJ Bolland and Fantastic Man that influenced their debut album. There are even a few untitled cuts in there for fans to gush over for the next few years.

They explain the idea behind the mix: “We’ve both got fond memories of long car journeys spent listening to the Essential Mix. For our contribution, we wanted to do something different to our normal club sets: exploring the influences behind our album and touching on genres we wouldn’t normally be able to play out.”
