Tel-Aviv-based indie-electronic trio Garden City Movement has announced their debut album Apollonia. In addition to the album, they have released a new single from the LP titled “Foreign Air.”

The trio of Roy Avital, Yoav Saar and Johnny Sharon draw from a wide variety of different styles including art-pop, experimental electronic music and indie rock on the record. They were able to take more time on the album, taking a darker path lyrically, exploring a fading relationship, loneliness and depression.

“After releasing three EPs, which each had a very tight deadline, recording the album has been a chance to grow,” says the band in a press release. ”It’s the first time we have been able to really take the time and experiment a lot in the studio; try to develop and deepen our language, come up with new sounds, and take our techniques even further.”

Apollonia will be released on March 16 via Night Time Stories. They will also tour Europe in March on the back of the album. Pre-order it here.
