Premiere: Bearcubs Delivers Moody, Stellar Remix Of Polographia 'Heart Attack'

Bearcubs takes this one and flips it into something special.

Australia production duo Polographia released their single “Heart Attack” towards the end of 2017, following up their 2016 EP Friends. Now the single has been flipped by British singer and producer Bearcubs, who is going to make some serious moves in 2018.

The original has that cheery Australian disco and housey sound that made it just right for the beginning of summer, but Bearcubs takes it to a darker more moody place. He pitches down the vocals and adds extra percussion, while changing the mood without losing the original tone of the song. There are hints of ZHU and James Blake in here, but it is still very much of Bearcubs.

As Bearcubs gets ready to release his debut album Ultraviolet on March 2, this is the type of extra piece of music that will get fans excited for the upcoming LP.

“This cool electronic flip of 'Heart Attack' by Bearcubs captures a darker side we never knew the song could have,” says Polographia of the remix.
