Vinyl is back and with the industry growing around it, those who are leading the charge will need to get together to discuss best business practices, collaboration and more. That is what is going to happen this spring in Brighton at the Vinyl World Congress when technical and industry executives from up and down the vinyl supply chain come together to talk the vinyl manufacturing industry.
It will being together, major and indie record labels, investors, Vinyl Manufacturers, Vinyl manufacturing machine suppliers, Turntable manufacturers, maintenance services, PVC suppliers, packaging and distribution services, resellers, suppliers and trade missions such as UKTI.
Speakers are already confirmed from Sony, Warner, PIAS, XL Recordings, AIM, Universal, Ninja Tune, BPI and more.
“Demand for vinyl is higher than it’s ever been with lead times between two to six months for some to get it manufactured,” said Event Director Connolly Mellon via M Magazine.
“Both ends of the spectrum (indie and major) have different concerns about the future but right now it’s happy days for most manufacturers. We want to see more pressing plants in Asia, South America, Africa, BRIC and beyond, that is where the untapped potential is.”
The event will take place from May 15-16 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole. Get more info here.
