Everybody loves to do pop-up shops nowadays. They are the hip thing to do. OWSLA is setting up a pop-up shop in New York City tomorrow and Saturday inspired by delis and Bodegas.
I have a few concerns. If they are truly inspired by Bodegas, this thing better be open 24/7, which it isn’t. The pop up shop is only open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. They better be selling loosies and chopped cheese sandwiches or else we will riot. If they really want to be friendly, let us buy a sweater on credit and get them back the next time when payday hits because we are good for it. Fans better be walking out with their clothes in the black “thank you for shopping” plastic bags. But mainly, Skrillex better be there selling loosies.
Anyway, the shop will take place at 114 Station St. in Manhattan tomorrow, February 9-10 between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. OWSLA worked with local NY artists Bryan Rivera and Javier Matias on exclusive pieces just for the pop-up.
