J. Worra is about to launch her own label Arrow and she is doing it with a bang. The LA-based producer and DJ will release the first single titled “Modern Medicine" with Dances With White Girls on her label this Friday, March 30.
The single brings some of the attributes she used for past releases and casts it in a new, better light. “Modern Medicine” comes with a chunky bassline and an addictive low-end that matches the deep voice from Dances With White Girls. If this is the type of modern medicine science has been promising, then we are on board.
"Modern Medicine took about 6-7 months to really evolve to what it is, it was definitely a lesson in patience for me. I had originally recorded in my own vocal hook and then decided I just wasn't doing the track proper justice. I have always been a huge fan of Dances with White Girls, I met him last year at Hard Summer Music Festival and he is just an awesome guy, I reached out and he laid down a few hooks for me,” says J. Worra.
“After that the final touches came together pretty quickly and I was able to test it out for the first time on Holy Ship. To be honest, I could not believe the reaction I was getting on the ship. I am so happy with this final product, I truly think it shows my evolution as an artist and I cannot wait to see how this one does."
“Modern Medicine” will be released this Friday, March 30 via Arrow. Pre-order on Beatport.
