Premiere: Naations Deliver Smooth Drum and Bass Remix Of Crooked Colours 'Perfect Run'

Some dark, late night bass for your face.

Aussie electronic trio Crooked Colours released their debut album Vera in June last year and have been touring almost non-stop since. Some extra content is coming out from the LP, like music videos and now a fresh remix for the album’s closing track “Perfect Run” by Los Angeles-based duo NAATIONS.

The duo takes the soft and slow burning album finale and flips into something similar but for drum and bass. They add a simple and smooth drum and bass beat that is the main element of the tune, while Phil Slaber dark, brooding vocals and a fluttering melody give the track a late night feel.

"I loved the vocals on this track especially so much melancholy and thought it would be perfect to me to add my Naations flavour to it. Love a bit of sad dance music hahaha,” the NAATIONS tells Magnetic. “And the nicky version I did I wanted it to be a late night rolling club thing that u can shut your eyes and feel the strobes hitting your face.”
