Hulu Picks Up Fyre Festival Docuseries, Release Date Set For 2019

An inside look into the failure of Fyre Festival is coming to Hulu.

Everybody has a pretty good idea of the absolute fiasco that was Fyre Festival. Nothing went right unless you like seeing by and large rich people get scammed out of money (the local vendors not getting paid is a problem). A docuseries that has been in works for some time now on the failed festival is being picked up by Hulu and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2019.

According to a press release, Hulu will join The Cinemart, Billboard and Mic to produce and distribute the docuseries on just went wrong with the festival. There will be interviews with insiders like local Bahamians, stranded festivalgoers, vendors, investors and more.

In addition to the to the interviews, there will be hours of exclusive never-before-seen footage, leaked documents, emails and recordings to shed more light on just how this could have happened.
